Android plot border

#1

Hello

I have a question regarding Android functionality i’m not able to find anywhere on the site (API, docs, forum).
For iOS the chart plot can be setup to show border around with specific color and line width through these properties:

plotAreaBorderColor
plotAreaBorderThickness

of the ShinobiChart class. But for Android there are no such properties. My idea is to add border to the plot itself - should look something like there are 2 more axes - mirrored X and Y. Is this something that’s possible to achieve with properties and styling instead of adding 2 more axes with empty data sets?

Cheers,
S.

Hi supudo,

At the moment it’s not possible to add a border to the plot area through styling in ShinobiCharts for Android. As you have suggested, the best way to do this is to use some extra axes and set the line colour and width of each appropriately. This does of course require multiple axes which is a premium-only feature.

Kind regards,

Patrick

Hi,

Thanks for the quick answer Patrick.
Hopefully it will be added as feature in the next releases :).
