[Chart] Label above Vertical Annotation Line

Hi Shinobi Team,

Three questions:

How do I make the date (03-27-1964)  appear at the top of the vertical orange annotation line?

How do I prevent the top of the yAxis label (50) from being chopped off at the top?

And, I am receiving this error after the chart finishes loading:

ShinobiCharts: Attempt to set year of SChartDateFrequency object to negative or zero - a default of 1 has been set.
From: SChartDateFrequency = { Y=1, M=3, W=0, D=0, h=0, m=0, s=0 }

Hi David,

Thanks for getting in touch!

  1. You can add text to an SChartAnnotation and place it using data values as coordinates for where you want the text to be placed. The SChartAnnotation method you require can be found HERE.

  2. This is a known issue with our charts and a work around solution would be to increase the maximum value of your range to a value slightly higher than 50 so the label doesn’t get clipped.

  3. This isn’t an issue we are aware of. Is there any chance you could manipulate one of our sample apps to reproduce this issue and send it in to us at info@shinobicontrols.com

This would really help us identify the source of your issue.

Kind Regards,
