Crash when using loadDataInBackground

#1

I have ShinobiChart added in a CollectionViewCell. Initially I had a delay while displaying the charts.

Using “loadDataInBackground” reduced delay significantly. However when I scroll repeadly and fast on CollectionView the App crashes.

Any idea for the solution. It does not crash when “loadDataInBackground” is disabled.

Hi akash - this is a known issue with the current release of charts - just to check, is the crash you’re getting to do with an array exception? If so, we’ve fixed this issue in our upcoming release, scheduled for later this month, or September time

Hi,

I’m not sure if the crash is due to array exception.

I don’t see any logs printed in the console. The last method call goes in here.

[ShinobiChartLog fatalMessageLog:fromSource:]

This is the stacktrace.

Hi Akash,

We are aware of a similar bug in this area which we are currently investigating, however, we haven’t been able to reproduce it reliably.

Do you have a small cut down project that replicates your issue reliably?

If so, could you send it to us at info@shinobicontrols.com referencing to this post in the email?

This would really help us identify the source of your issue.

Kind regards,
Andrew Polkinghorn
