Data Point Texture artifacts

#1

I am using a texture for a data point in a scatter series.  Sometimes when I select these points I get an unusual artifact that appears on the chart that looks like a smaller version of the texture:

Relevant bits of code:

- (void)sChart:(ShinobiChart *)chart toggledSelectionForPoint:(SChartDataPoint *)dataPoint inSeries:(SChartSeries *)series atPixelCoordinate:(CGPoint)pixelPoint {
    SChartAnnotation *annotation = [[SChartAnnotation alloc] initWithFrame:CGRectMake(pixelPoint.x, pixelPoint.y, 44.0f, 44.0f)];
    // add relevant data from the point to the annotation

    [self.chart addAnnotation:annotation];

    // Show a UIPopoverController from the annotation

    dataPoint.selected = NO;
    [chart redrawChart];
}

Code for setting up the series:

UIImage *texture = [[UIImage imageNamed:@"warning"] imageWithRenderingMode:UIImageRenderingModeAlwaysTemplate];

SChartScatterSeries *series = [[SChartScatterSeries alloc] init];
series.style.pointStyle.radius = @(texture.size.height * ([UIScreen mainScreen].scale * 0.5f));
series.style.pointStyle.texture = texture;
series.style.pointStyle.color = [UIColor applicationTintColor];
series.style.pointStyle.showPoints = NO;
series.style.selectedPointStyle = series.style.pointStyle;
series.selectionMode = SChartSelectionPoint;

return series;
