SChartTickMark flashing color issue

#1

I have an app that’s locked into Portrait Mode. No landscape whatsoever

Now I have a bar chart with a black background, the tick marks are white.

The problem is that even though the app is locked in portrait, if I rotate the device landscape the tick marks reset and flash black before going to white again.

Strange behavior, could  be a bug

I use:

-(void)sChart:(ShinobiChart *)chart alterTickMark:(SChartTickMark *)tickMark beforeAddingToAxis:(SChartAxis *)axis{
    tickMark.tickLabel.textColor = [UIColor whiteColor];
}

You may want to try setting rotatesOnDeviceRotation to NO.

It works thanks. Although I still think this should be taken care of at a higher up level. The app is locked in portrait globally so the charting library should be able to detect this

Hi Ryanmsusa,

I’m glad you managed to find a workaround. I’ve forwarded this suggestion onto our development team and it will be investigated and potentially included in a future release.

Thanks,
Jan
